This 9500DF is more then I expected. Hooked to my house and I can run the whole house on it. Even a 3 ton A/C

great performance

I bought this to use for backup power for my house. Arrived with minor shipping damage. Looks like forklift forks went thru box and put small dent in gas tank flange. Unpacked, assembled and went thru start up procedure. Started with first push of the button and ran without any problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy setup, starts right up, 1 minor issue

Set up was easy, instructions made sense, watch when filling oil as at the end it comes up near the filler cap which can be too much. After setting up and fueling used remote started right up, checked with the push button on the unit, that worked as well. Does not seem too loud but had no load on it. One issue was the cap over the propane connection had been shoved on and now won’t thread on correctly see picture. Also note the oil fill cap is plastic and threading into the metal. This too could be easy to mis-thread it when screwing it in, so take your time. Have not connected to house yet so we’ll see how it does and revise as needed.

Excellent features for all our needs

I bought this generator to give us emergency power when we have the expected power outages. My wife who is 91, has emphysema. Her twice daily treatments require electricity. Also very important, is power to our heat pump and refrigerators. This generator uses both gasoline or propane which works for me because I have an 80 gallon propane tank.
I would recommend this to a friend!
