All the Whistles Needed

Just purchased and received 2 of these generators in time for the upcoming hurricane season. Hope I do not have to use them this season, but glad to have the power and features this model offers.

Just Received my Westinghouse 9500DFc Generator. The generator was easy to setup. I do recomend having a second person on-hand to help put the wheels on! Overall very happy!

No More Power Outage Problems!

Warranty replacement generator started immediately on propane. Power up, all outlets producing power. GFCI tests and resets on all. 2 120V AC dual outlets, 1 30 amp RV outlet, 1 50amp RV outlet. Dual fuel, gasoline or propane. The remote start came paired and operational. This amazing generator has an electric starter and battery, along with a trickle charger to keep it ready for service. The stowaway handle and large wheels make it really easy to move, even on rough ground. I don't know the decibel level, but this generator is only a little louder on propane than my 2200 quiet generator.
This generator produces enough power to run my entire household. I love the flexibility of using gas or propane. I really like propane, because it is so much cleaner and easier to refill. It is a little heavy, but that's expected with the power and options. I can take it with my RV, use it for camping, or keep it as backup for my house where the power goes out frequently for more than 8 hours at a time. I bought this generator for the output and dual fuel capability. Remote start was a bonus. If you need house power backup, or a powerful generator for your RV camping, this one is great!
I was one of the less than 1% of people who had problems with my first one of these generators. Warranty service replaced it immediately, and I am very happy.

Appears to be nice unit - but won't run on propane

I bought this unit a couple of months ago and just got around to having an electrician wire the house. Shortly after the unit arrived in early March I started it up using propane (after reading the manual) and it ran beautifully. Today when I tried to start it for the electrician it would not start on propane...crazy. I put gas in it which I didn't want to do. It started and ran on gas and it ran my whole house. The disappointing thing is that I called the service hotline on a Saturday morning to ask someone for help. It was an answering service and they said that someone would call me during normal business hours next week. So, if there was an emergency and you needed to use your generator on the weekend there would be no assistance. The woman on the phone said they would give me the nearest service location to take it to. So beware because I would consider this a major missing link in their system. Maybe others are the same. I'll see what happens next week...when I'm at my full time residence...200 miles from the generator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features and power

Love the dual fuel option. This generator puts my wife's mind at ease now that we moved to Florida and experience power outages.

Easy Start

My husband and I bought the WGen9500DF because of the wattage, push button start, and the dual fuel. At our age I just couldn't pull start our old generator. We donated it to our neighbor who keeps an eye on us. I just wished it had four wheels because it is a little hard for me to move it out of storage to our deck.
