Excellent Quality!

We have had our generator since mid-August. So far we have only used once, but it is easy to operate and will power the whole 1700-sq ft house. I shopped every brand, and the Westinghouse 9500DF can strongly compete with any brand out there. Very happy with my choice. Less money and more power is always a good thing.

Powerful, versatile, and loud

After losing power to our home a number of times over the past year or two, we decided we needed a backup power source. We looked for a generator that would have enough power to run our whole house, that was dual fuel (so we can run it off our LP tank if we wanted to), was reliable, that I could manage installing myself, and that didn't cost a fortune. The Westinghouse WGen9500DF ticked all those boxes. I've been able to successfully power our whole house (including A/C!). I have yet to connect to our LP tank (that's a project for another day), but I'm glad I have that option.
I will note that the unit is quite loud (thus the 4 stars vs. 5). But, I suppose this is to be expected for this size of generator. And, when the utility power goes out and I'm able to still power my entire house off of this generator, I don't think I'm going to mind the noise.

Dual fuel is a must!!

I bought this a couple months ago and wanted to make sure everything was good with it before I left a review, and I couldn't be more pleased with it!! The dual fuel is definitely a must when it comes to a generator. We ran out of gas and it was so nice to be able to just hook up the propane and we were ready to go again!

Great features.

I am happy with this generator. The only draw back is that residual oil leaked onto the unit during shipping so I had to clean the entire unit. It ran great without any leaks after it was cleaned up.
