By far the most bang for your buck in generators!

I did a lot of research on generators and looked all over the internet for a portable generator that could power our home in case of shut offs or outages. I purchased the 9500 DF generator and so far have only operated on gas but it starts easily and runs smooth. It has many great features that are important to me, it is ready to operate out of the box with the supplies it comes with. It comes with oil, the gas regulator and, my favorite, the remote start. It is relatively quiet considering its size, it is about as loud as my older 2500w generator. its also very easy to operate which is important to me so that if I am not home my wife does not have to mess with our old one and can just start up and run. I was very impressed with the quality of everything on the unit and will definitely be using Westinghouse more in the future.

I bought this in July as a Christmas gift for my grandson who takes care of our home. It is a hard starter with the manual pull start and the on/off switch for the battery seems to be loose, we have to hold it just right to keep the battery active to use the push button electric start. Disappointed in this, since it is brand new and shouldn't have to do that. Otherwise, it is going to work for what we need it to do for our home in case of power outage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Quick assembly

Was on my driveway when came home, had it assembled and running on propane in 30 min. Started easy, remote works great from inside house start/stop. Very Pleased!

Easy to get up and running

Happy with my purchase. Easy to install the footpads and wheels. Added the oil and gas, easily connected the battery wires and plugged in the charger. Within an hour of charging, I had it started the first time.

Push button start

I am an older woman living in SE Louisiana and this generator will handle my whole house and has push button start and remote start which is great for older people - also has dual fuel- very pleased with my purchase!!
