Great features and super easy assembly

I ordered the WGen9500DF on-line October 28, 2021 and it was delivered to my shop on November 3rd. It was well packaged and assembly consisted of mounting the two rubber foot mounts with two screws for each mount; installing the two wheels; adding 1 quart of 10/30W engine oil and going on-line at wpowereq.com to register the unit. A trickle battery charger comes with the unit as did the oil, funnel, wheels, rubber foot mounts, spark plug wrench, 10mm wrench for rubber foot mounts and LP hose assembly. The Generator will be used for backup for the house and shop at one time. My breaker panel is outside near the shop, it has been updated with a transfer switch and with an inlet box to accept the 30 amp generator cable that I ordered in advance.

Electric start needs a plug-in

Two days after I received the 9500DF I finally got the generator started after figuring out you needed to plug in the battery charger to get the engine started. Took 20 - yes 20 starts before the engine finally turned over. It works - haven't used it yet in a blackout condition. We will see . . .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While I haven't used the generator for a prolonged period of time yet, I have turned it on and used the propane fuel. Worked like a charm. It is load, but not a surprise and happy to have a little piece of mind on back up power.

Great Dual Fuel Generator!!!

This is one of the best generators on the market and it came at a great price. The electronic start and remote start are amazing. No longer do you have to go out in the cold to start the generator, just use the key fob and it starts right up. Having the ability to use both gas and propane is a huge plus. The plugs have nice weather proof covers and it is simple to use. The wheels and handle also make it easy to move around as it is kind of heavy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to set up and use

Just purchased and set up, directions were easy to follow which made it a snap. Even setting up the remote fob easy to do and everything worked from the first push of the button. I plugged in my shop vac and it didn't skip a beat, I then plugged in vac/shredder and vacuumed up the remaining fall leaves. We are currently renting so I won't be adding a transfer box until we are in our own home. Out of the box this is a great product, hopefully after some general use it will remain the same.
