Not what I expected from Otterbox

I have had numerous Otterbox cases over the years and have beat the living snot out of them. This case, did absolutely nothing to stop the damage on my phone. I think its because there is nothing softening the blow when it falls on the back. My back glass absolutely shattered on my 14 Pro Max and the case cracked. The only reason the case did not come apart is because the Magsafe Ring kept it together. I could understand if there was some crazy fall but it slipped out of my hand as I picked it up from my desk and fell on its back on the floor.

I dropped my phone and this case did absolutely nothing. The back of my phone completely shattered.

Bought this for my brand new iPhone 14 pro max. Literally the second day my one year old grabbed my phone from the couch a dropped it on the floor and the entire back of my phone shattered. She dropped it from like a foot high. Expensive phone, expensive phone case, for nothing. Very sad.

Quality not as it was before

Not only did I access the warranty on my first case, but a couple months with this new case and my back shattered today. Very disappointed and it has turned me off of otterbox now as it is supposed to save your phone and the damage which happened today was extremely concerning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Protective but Loses Its Pretty

This has been really great for protecting my phone (I have the clear glitter), but it has browned something awful around the rims and looks awful.
