The case itself is great - really protects the phone very well. The holster: not so much. The holster really does not grab the case very well. I've had the case for my old iPhone 12 fro years and the holster did a fine job of holding on to the case. The holster/case for the iPhone 16 just is not as secure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this case for my boyfriend and he loves the protection it gives. The design is very minimal which he likes and it wasn’t hard to carry around. The durability of the case holds up very well when he drops it. Overall would recommend!

Long time defender user and extremely disappointed with this purchase. Have these cases for YEARS on my previous I phones without issue. This one provided No protection on side near camera button leave it unprotected and my glass protect has shattered twice. I do not recommend this case or the life proof glass protector.

Hello! The new and improved design works seamlessly with Apple's new camera control button on the Apple iPhone 16 line of our cases. Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case, we also re-engineered these cases to be Drop+ 7x rated up from Drop+ 4x rated on previous versions.

I have been a fan of the Otter Box Defender since my daughter told me after breaking my phone three times by dropping it. Once I dropped it in the street, it got run over by a car, AND my phone still wasn't broken!!! FAN FOR LIFE!

Case rocks. Buying the belt clip separately sucks

The Otterbox has been my go to iPhone case for years. The case itself is still my first, if not only choice. I was however extremely disappointed that the belt clip is now a separate purchase. Not cool. That needs to be included, or as a minimum an option made at the time of purchase

Not as good as old version. Returned it. There is no protection for camera button and my husband would break his phone for sure using this case.
