Case is very snug, phone seems very secure. I had a Otterbox years ago when I was working outdoors. It seems to me that this case is not as big and bulky as the Otterbox of old.

This case appears to be made extra safe for protecting my grandsons new iPhone. It has a double case and will hopefully withstand any falls in the future. We also purchased glass protector for added protection.

This is my third Otter Box Defender dating back almost 15 years. I have come to enjoy its protection for my phone. I’m not inclined to drop it but when it does slip I can depend on the quality of my Defender. I chose a color to match my phone’s new color. Unlike prior models, there is no protective covering on the screen. I guess I’m trusting the folks at Apple to have me protected there. I love the solid protection of the case and its layers.

Always used otterbox and have never had a phone break, the new design on the right side of the case where the edge of the phone is exposed has me doubting the durability
