Having used non-stick cookware for 30 years, I very recently switched to Cuisinart stainless steel. Cooking a liquid-based meal worked great! Still struggling with the heat transfer (seems like stainless steel gets much hotter).

This saucepan is a great size, easy to clean. The only drawbacks are the handles tilt upwards quite a bit and I had a hard time finding a place with enough space to store them. Also, the edge on the top of the pan seems to be quite sharp. Just a little uncomfortable when you're hand washing the pan.

This is my second purchase of this saucepan. It is my favorite pan to use with my steamer basket. Unfortunately, someone else was using the earlier purchase (which we'd had for some time) and allowed the water to boil out doing damage to the bottom of the pan. So, I just turned around and ordered a new one!
