The deep fryer is great for preparing small amounts when cooking for two. I recently had to have mine replaced under warranty and it was handled very well. The function of the appliance is great. However, I do have an issue with the odor from the appliance itself that was not there with the previous one. Not sure if this will wear off with use or not but it seems to flavor the food as well. I'm going to try a new oil and see if that changes anything.

Heated oil to proper temp. The basket helps lift food in and out of oil. Too bad the oil reservoir doesnt have a way to lift out to clean. Trying to not get housing wet was pretty hard when cleaning oil reservoir.

Easy to use, cord is too short for where my electrical outlets are placed as I place this on the stovetop for heat and exhaust vent. I have to use an extension cord. It just barely heats up enough to deep fry, but does get the job done. Yam fries take 6 minutes per batch one 375 F. Donuts took about 3 min and can only fry two at a time, but I do not want a large fryer.

It´s small, and that’s both good and bad. You can’t cook very much at a time, so it’s only good for one or two people, but it doesn’t take a lot of oil to fill it, and it doesn’t occupy much pantry space for storage. The shape of the fry basket is good, maximizing the capacity of the fryer. After cooking, I let the oil cool, then pour it through a strainer into a jar for storage in the fridge, so the oil can be used again.
