The first time I used the smallest pan, I simply boiled water for tea. The inside bottom of the pan discolored, and I have not been able to change this with washing. I suspect the pans are made out of a poor quality metal, hence the “good price”.

Affordable and great quality! I considered several other brands and sets before selecting this particular one from Cuisinart. I am happy with my choice and look forward to using each time! The pans are durable but not too heavy when lifiting or cooking. The purchase price was competitive and a good investment for this set. This set is a great value! It has just enough pieces to make it easy to store but still cook a full dinner. It heats very evenly. I use a soft cleanser for clean up to make them sparkle. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
