Your tops suppose to be cool to touch but I burned my fingers. The quality doesn't seem as good as the set from about 12 years ago.

This set of stainless steal heats up quickly. I used the skillet for cooking & browning onions & had a hard crust in pan. I put some water & little soap. Right away it lifted lose & perfectly clean. No scrubbing! Great investment & will last a long time!

I went from teflon to stainless and couldn't be happier with this purchase. The heat is more even with the stainless with the same amount of nonstick.
