We used the waffle maker immediately and it did a great job. Making two waffles at a time really helped letting everyone eat together. Had a single waffle maker for 12 years and it finally died

Works well and it's sure nice to be able to make two waffles at once, rather than have one get soggy waiting for the next one. It seems that the temperature adjustment is lower than it the setting, as our first try turned out underdone waffles even though set at medium. It was easy to correct. I really like the audible beeps, it means I won't miss the ready light if I'm otherwise occupied.

I was a bit skeptical about buying this. I saw an America’s Test Kitchen review of it and they chose it as the best waffle iron for it’s price. I purchased it and I am glad I did. The waffles come out perfectly cooked. It is great that I can cook two at a time too!
