Six months ago I bought this to replace the “same” toaster I purchased ten years ago. The heating rods burned out. I like the baking pan insert very much. The toaster overall is not as sturdily built and does not toast bread to a constant brown color as it’s prodecessor.

The toasting feature doesn’t work well. Smoke comes from around the door making u thing the toast is burning when in fact it is hardly toasted. The dial should only be turned to 1/4 level for bread but must be turned to > 1/2 to toast an English muffin.

I bought this at Christmas and have used it since then. 2 improvements I would have liked. It is hard to see where the indicators are on the dials. If they were colored it would help. Also concerning the oven it should have a timer.

We bought the cuisinart dual coffe maker and loved the product so much the we decided to purchase the toaster over broiler! We use it all the time to bake in instead of our full oven. It is just two of us and this works perfect.

I bought this product to replace my toaster and also double as a warming appliance for leftovers. It does a decent job of performing these tasks but I question the quality of the appearance (looks cheaply made), and the door sticks making it difficult to close. I have other Cuisinart products and I'm disappointed with the overall quality and value based on the price I paid for this I expected more.
