I recently purchased this toaster oven, and was excited to get something shiny and new. However, after a few weeks the top dial came off. Very disappointed, as this was not an inexpensive item.

We had this toaster and broke down after we used for two years. We thought about buying another brand but since we already know how to use this model, so we bought exact same one. The new one has louder beep and it toast too well when you set it light toasted, but hey, Cuisinart should be great brand, right? Hope it lasts more than two years with this new one!

I have read some reviews about this Toaster Oven Broiler, and some users claim that there is no timer device on this appliance. So far, I have used my Toaster Oven and Broiler to bake, warm up, and prepare my foods. When I set the temperature and other settings, the Toaster Oven / Broiler goes to work and rings when my food is ready. Why all the negative reviews about the timer and alerts? Mine works just fine! It's easy to use and I love it!!!

I bought this to replace a more expensive, complicated oven I had bought & returned. Yours is easier to operate, more compact, and fits better in the allocated space. So far I have not cooked in it but have only toasted - this was my main reason for getting a toaster oven to replace the toaster but also have access to other features when necessary.
