I am very pleased with my new Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler and despite a learning curve on my part have turned out a few good meals and the convenience of having a versatile countertop helper. It is attractive and just the right size for my home. I recommend it.
Knobs on oven front need little white dots to show what setting they're pointed to. In poor light, or with bad eyesight, its hard to tell. This results in having to turn the knob all the way to the left, and then counting the clicks to establish the setting. While a minor thing, using the oven several times a day converts it to an annoyance.
I ordered this toaster to replace a malfunctioning one, different manufacturer. We have only used the toast and bake so far and both work wonderfully. The dial for the darkness for the toast is hard to figure out. I would suggest the manufacturer either make the know with a raised area so you can feel where the dial is pointing or color it. My 92 year old father and my self have figured it out , but through trial and error.
After many years of using a Cuisinart toaster oven we just ordered a new one. Not because it stopped working but because we were moving into a new home and wanted a new one. Reliable and does the job.
I like this toaster oven a lot. My only small complaint is that the door is a bit stiff to open; it often requires holding one hand on the top of the unit to pull down the door. Otherwise the whole think kinda tips forward. But other than that, this was an excellent purchase.
So far, we are very pleased with our new toaster-oven. The interior is much larger than our old one, yet it does not take up much more counter space. We experimented a little to get the right settings for various types of toast, which is true of any toaster. I'd rate this a good value.
