Dangerous if plugged in, turns on by itself

Toaster turns on by itself…..even when I have the knob turned off! I’ve had this toaster for a few years and it just started turning on by itself. It is a dangerous kitchen appliance to keep plugged in if you leave the house. Who wants to keep unplugging this appliance everytime they are not using it?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love that when you open the door, the top rack pulls out automatically, so you don't have to reach inside the hot oven to remove your items.
