I initially needed a toaster, however, I visited Warren Cutlery in Rhinebeck and found this small and handy toaster oven. It works beautifully and I am very happy I bought it instead of another toaster. I can do much more with it than with the toaster.

We needed to replace an old toaster oven and were delighted to find this one. We didn’t need an air fryer. This little oven bakes and toasts and broils perfectly without making a mess and it is compact on the counter. We are very happy with it.

This actually was the 3rd Toaster Oven that we purchased, The first one a B&D was too small and we returned it, The Hamilton Beach was riddled with poor and archaic features + some fire dangers (no usable timer) and then we purchased this one The Cuisinart Classic, we know it is being discontinued but It is so much better than the other options in our price range and after a month is really exactly what we wanted. 4 STARS because the only features that could be better would be an interior light and a better reference mark on the "Toast" dial. (I fixed that with a marker). After a month or so everything is good and expect many years out of it.

Dangerous if plugged in, turns on by itself

Toaster turns on by itself…..even when I have the knob turned off! I’ve had this toaster for a few years and it just started turning on by itself. It is a dangerous kitchen appliance to keep plugged in if you leave the house. Who wants to keep unplugging this appliance everytime they are not using it?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
