So, we went carnivore and needed a large size air fryer to cook a lot of meat. We trusted the Cuisinart brand because we have other appliances that work very well. We were not disappointed this things is a breeze to operate and we cook in it almost every day.
Weak point: Toaster is very slow to toast. Otherwise it works well. I wish the booklet were stronger, maybe including some basic how-to information, like how to air fry things like chicken or beef cuts that are simply treated with some salt and pepper and aren't breaded or otherwise encrusted. The included recipes are kind of esoteric for someone new to air frying.
This is my 3rd such appliance and by far the best! It’s pricey but easy to use and to clean. The visual choices are clear, dials easy to turn, recipes are great. Too bad I wasted time and money on previous brands.
We stayed for a couple of weeks at a house with the smaller version of this air fryer/ oven and used it frequently. We often found that we had to air fry/roast food in two batches so we didn’t crowd the items, so decided we wanted the biggest model available for our own. We are so glad we bought the big one. The footprint is not that much larger on the counter, and we can bake enough for 2-4 people at one time. In addition, we can use it as an oven to bake a pan of lasagna, or a pie, or even cookies. I love not having to use my big gas oven for these tasks.
