I have a larger Cuisinart food processor that I have had since about 1973 and it still works great. So, when I wanted a smaller version I did not consider any other brand. Great decision! This smaller version is powerful enough for almost daily use! I’ll still use my larger one for bigger jobs but I am so glad I chose to get a smaller one and a Cuisinart!!
The blade is hard to remove : I have to take the bowl off to get the blade loose, making disassembly challenging. The cord storage area is not well designed. I normally attach a self adhesive cord storage winder, but the curved body offers no flat area to attach one. I preferred the smaller capacity cuisinart I had before this one. Oh well.
Plugged in would not turn on. Faulty product. Might be a good product. I was just sent one that doesn’t work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This little machine is doing a lot of heavy lifting for me right now to prep nutrient-dense meals as I recover my health, and it handles everything I throw at it. It turns hours of chopping/mashing into just a few seconds of work. It’s reliable, easy to clean, and exactly what I needed to make this lifestyle change sustainable.
I had a 3-cup for many, many years. Then I switched to KitchenAid’s 5-cup for a few months. I gave that away and came back to Cuisinart (4 cup). I’m so glad to be back using a smooth-running, easy to use, well-made product that I will enjoy for many, many years
Love it! I bought this to replace my 30 year old Cuisinart mini and I have no regrets. It works so much better than the old one and the grind feature is a great upgrade. I have a larger model too but this one is so handy for daily tasks. Cuisinart should consider offering it as is plus an upgraded model with the slice/ shred option.
