Sturdy but not too hefty. Well-balanced. Lids fit well and are a breeze to wash - no unnecessary crevices. Handles stay cool to the touch. Both long pan handles and short pot handles feel stable and comfortable in your hands. The set is gorgeous. I keep them on open shelves. Unfortunately, the bases are uneven. There's a slight rock on my glass top stove. It's my only disappointment.

This is my first experience with cuisinart and I am very impressed with it. I used other brands with teflon and didn’t realize it wasn’t a healthy way to cook our food. I’m looking forward to a change!
