I got this pan because of the steamer insert, and use it several times a week for my vegetables. But the pan itself is wonderful when I’ve used it for sautéed items and boiled. The lid is glass to keep a watch on what’s cooking The handle on the pan doesn’t get hot and the knob on the lid has a slot that will hold your utensil. It cleans like a dream. So many uses, who wouldn’t want it?
Performance: The Cuisinart Preferred Pan offers excellent heat distribution, ensuring even cooking without hot spots. It performs well for searing, sautéing, and frying. Food releases easily, thanks to the non-stick surface.
Design: The pan features a stylish, durable exterior with a sturdy handle that stays cool during cooking. The induction-compatible base works on all stovetops.
Usability: It’s lightweight and easy to handle, with a comfortable grip. Cleaning is a breeze, but it’s important to avoid using metal utensils to preserve the non-stick surface.
Pros: Even heat distribution, easy to clean, durable. Cons: Not suitable for metal utensils, needs careful handling to maintain non-stick coating.
Recommendation: Great for everyday cooking, especially for those looking for a reliable non-stick pan. I’d rate it 4.5/5 for its performance and ease of use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
