After my original (1978) 14-cup died I waited a few years to replace it as we were downsizing. Finally, I missed it enough that I shopped for another. This 7-cup version is perfect for the smaller meals I make these days and is so much lighter it is easy for me to get in and out of my pantry! Yet it remains stable on my counter and works beautifully! I happily recommend it.

I just wanted a medium sized, good quality processor that doesn’t take up much room and comes with a minimal amount of extra pieces. This fits the bill. All the cutting disks store in the bowl and you don’t have to drag out the instructions to put it together and use it. I rarely use a food processor, so my previous fancy Cuisinart just was taking up too much of my limited space. I was delighted to hand it to a friend and replace it with this one.
