I have had this oven for less than a month and am pleased overall except for the fact that the labels on the buttons are wearing away, the start/stop button label is completely gone.
I believe I have had the item for about 3 weeks now. It's great! Very well made, easy to use, reliable and quite accurate. I used the oven to prepare premade chicken Cordon Bleu and they came out better than in my gas oven. I'm 100% satisfied!
My first cuisinart oven I had (still have) for over 10 years. The finish on the front around the door is beginning to crack so I thought it was time for a new one. Buttons are hard to read and when I pull the rack out to remove food the entire oven tips forward. Not Safe! Afraid there is going to be a horrific accident at some point.
This is an initial review! My family (ranging from 26 years to 93!) is upset that we do not have the kind of oven we had before. It is too complicated for some of them to have constantly enter what feature is needed and then how to set all the particulars. The time I was able to set toasting, for example, I was able to do it. But I too find it just too bothersome since one has to bend over, the knob easily moves on to other lines, and the booklet is really not very helpful. Please do not forget that not everyone is as savy as the designers/planners who always try to "out-stophisticate" the competitors! So my answers to the following questions is strongly influenced by these considerations.
