The coffee maker is fine, but one feature I didn't notice when I purchased it is that the pot handle does not have a hinged lid like every pot I've ever seen. You have to pry it off and line it up to open up the pot and reattach the lid. Very inconvenient if you want to add a bit more water or something. So annoying is this that we dug in the cupboard and found an old pot that fits perfectly and works just fine with this brewer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got our toaster oven from our wedding registry and LOVE it! We use it everyday! Perfect for heating up leftovers and toasting my gluten free breads and bagels (because a regular toaster just doesn't cut it). We haven't ventured in to much cooking with it yet but it performs well for everything weve done with it so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying everything about this programmable coffee maker. It was super easy to setup and use. Very well constructed and it makes a great pot of coffee. The only issue I had with it was the very powerful and overwhelming plastic smell. That ended up going away after I cleaned the machine out a few times.

Cuisinart changed the lid from the previous model. It limited the degrees that it opens so you can't pour a full pot of water in without making a mess. If you only need 9-10 cups, awesome! If you want a full pot, get a different model.

Much too expensive for something that just bakes and toasts. Definitely not "deluxe". Poor design has no interior lighting, even from the heating elements, to show cooking progress. The door must be opened to view the item. Poor design also with the crumb try that scratches the inside of the door every time it is pulled out. Additionally, a lot of crumbs accumulate on the ledge beneath the door and the only way to remove them is with some type of brush. I could have purchased a much better toaster oven at 1/3 the price. Obviously, I am very disappointed with this oven.
