What can u line the bottom with if not alum.foil??

Works well. Had nearly same model for 8 years and only replaced due to inability to clean better. Same problem here and I need to know WHY the bottom pan cannot be lined with aluminum foil on this model TPO-135N? My previous model#CTO-140PC was lined that way for years without a problem!

Bought this again for our home in the desert. Very convenient and efficient and more importantly doesn’t heat up the kitchen. I wish it had an interior light so I could check on the progress of the food.

We have enjoyed Cuisinart in the past. However, this one, despite how careful we are setting it up occasionally overflows. If we send it back under warranty we won't have a coffee maker!

This does exactly what I expected as a replacement for a previous model that lasted 8 years of mostly daily use. The newer controls are quite easy to use and having the fan on/off switch is very useful. The "toast" function I have used once but it seems to work nicely. I am of course hoping that the electronics will hold up. Good to see that the overall design and construction has not changed much so that it will fit in the same area as my old one.
