Cookies bake unevenly unless the convection feature is on. I am still learning what this little oven can do. I like being able to make small recipes for two instead of using my big stove oven.

The toaster oven is the right size for a counter top - smaller than a microwave but large enough to handle 6 slices of bread. The controls are easy to use and intuitive. Just turn the dial to choose a function (eg., toast, bake, broil, etc.) then push the temp or time button (if required) and again turn the dial to select a setting. Two nice features: using the convection feature is optional, and the defrost option may be used when toasting frozen bread, muffins or bagels. The notation on the buttons too small, but an LED light surrounds the appropriate buttons for each function, making it less of an issue. We decided to upgrade to a newer Cuisinart toaster oven, even though our 5 year old Cuisinart worked well. Lots of nice features in this upgrade.

Good substitute for heating up my oversized gas oven. Roasted asparagus and broccoli for two very well. Roomy interior holds a dinner plate. Doesn't seem to be well calibrated for lower temperatures.
