Sometimes you just want a classic coffee maker that looks good on your kitchen counter. This is the one for us. Small footprint, big 12 cup pot. Easy to program, use, and clean.
Purchased this model to replace same one that quit working. Features are the same with some slight design modifications. This far, it's worked well. However, have a couple issues: 1) when adding water after brewing stops (my wife doesn't like her coffee as strong as me) it doesn't seem to continue brewing, or at least does so very slowly, unless you turn off and back on again and 2) the unit has already needed cleaning even though it's still very new. Our last one seemed to go much longer before it's first cleaning.
We love this convection toaster and use it every day. In addition to toasting things, we also use it to bake smaller items such as croissants and biscuits and to reheat many items including french fries. The convection feature is fantastic and allows more even, faster heating. When we don't need our full size Bosch oven, the Cuisinart comes through!
Not happy with the controls. Takes way too long to simply set it for ANYTHING and if you need to add a couple of minutes you have to start all over. Also not happy with the viewer. Way to hard to read Letters are too small and it’s not well lit
My only complaint is when using the carafe to fill the water reservoir, it tends to spill into the machine where the coffee grounds are meant to be. This, I believe, is because it’s impossible to get the last bit of water into the reservoir without some contortion. Other than that it’s a solid coffee maker!
This Cuisinart replaced my old Cuisinart that lasted for more than 10 years. I loved that one and love this one even more. Love how it toasts, love how it bakes. Love the automated functions. In fact, there’s nothing I don’t love. I trust Cuisinart products because they’ve never given me any problems.
