I am loving this oven, best toast I've made in years. Broiler works great, and the oven temp is spot on temp per a good thermometer. Some people comment that it is confusing to use, but so far so good here. Just pay attention to the blue light options and hit start. I do sometimes grab the booklet to see where the oven rack should be positioned. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because: the oven is not very tall, and it's kinda dicey to stick hands in to grab toast, especially as there is a lip on the front of the rack. (The toast needs to be "lifted" instead of just sliding forward and out.) I use small tongs to pull the rack out and grab the toast. Secondly, it needs a light! (I keep a small flashlight nearby, and use it often)
Thank goodness for the 3 year warranty. Cuisinart had to replace this oven 2 times in 3 years.

I had a digital Cuisinart toaster oven that I dearly loved but it finally lost one of its heating elements and there was no way to fix it. So I decided since it was so reliable and lasted so long I would get a Cuisinart again. I do like this new one, except for a few things. I like the digital read out better than the dials, and I do not like the fact that there is an automatic timer on the heating. But there’s no way to bypass it. So I have to work around it. But otherwise, my only other problem with it is that My old one was totally white, And this one is stainless all on the sides, although the front is white. But it’s very difficult to get white appliances anymore. Stainless is terrible because any little thing you touch shows up as a smudge. But that’s true of all stainless appliances, so I have to live with it. But I like the size, I have limited counterspace and low cabinets, so this works perfectly.
My wife and I are somewhat disappointed in this toaster oven. It seems to be on the hot side on most of the settings. A previous other brand oven would need a 6 on bagels.. this one I put on 3 and it is almost burnt around the edges and I have it on the rack the quick guide shows me to use..We find we have to watch everything, even toast, when we put it in so we don't burn it... not a happy camper ..
I had an older convection oven (Cuisinart) but it had too many knobs that required turning. Since I have trouble turning knobs I decided to try this toaster oven because there was only one knob. It works perfectly and solved the problem.
