My second Cuisinart hand mixer. The other lasted 10 years. Finally the motor overheated while making pecan cake at Xmas. It is a very thick, heavy dough and was just too much for the hand mixer. I don't know if I'll try this one on that mixture or not, but it seems to be able to handle everything else I've asked it to do and handle them well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I will have to rate this mixer with 5 stars. I used it for the first time and was hooked on it. I did not think at first that the beaters were going to get the job done because of the wide space between them but they worked perfectly. The settings allow you to mix ingredients starting at a slow speed without splattering ingredients all over the place. This mixer worked excellent for me.

This mixer performs well. It is almost identical to the top half of a full size mixer (I think it was a Kitchen Aid) I was given almost 50 years ago. The Cuisinart hand mixer has slightly larger beaters and more speed controls. It is a great replacement for my old mixer that finally failed. Glad I found the Cuisinart mixer !

I received the Cusinart hand mixer as a Christmas present to replace another brand that had recently stopped working. I love the look of this hand mixer, love that it rests on its base, and has enough power to mix everything I need! I gave it one less star, because I have trouble getting one of the blades to stay in. I think I figured it out, but I still have to fiddle with it when I'm ready to use it. Also, they have a reusable cord band for organizing the cord, which is a great extra.....not sure how long it will last. Overall, I love this gift!
