I've only used it once so I need a little more time with it. It seemed that the first speed is really high, I like to ease into mixing so things don't go flying all over. And the thin wire beaters don't seem to mix as well as the thicker beaters.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love my new Cuisinart Power Advantage Hand Mixer! I mixed 7 different cookie doughs,and was very impressed with the speed this has! I had only set it at 1 and didn't need to go to higher speeds! Then i saw how easy it was to wash the beaters! The mixer was very easy to operate! You honestly would love this as much as I do!
