My daughter needed some holiday cookies for school and my friend recommended this specific mixer. The mixer is light, powerful and easy to control! One caveat: mixing softened butter and sugar can get a little messy but once we got used to the mixer we were able to quickly minimize the splatter. So far,I have done several cookie/muffin recipes and the mixer has done a great job mixing and handling thick batter. Please make sure you use a mixing bowl with a stable base and high enough sides to make sure everything stays in the bowl. Use and maintenance of the beaters is also straight forward.
So far, both my daughter (11) and I like the mixer and we are looking forward to the next recipe!
I have 45 years experience as a cook. This is the best mixer you can buy! I ordered what I thought was a Cuisinart before I bought my Cuisinart and it was a knock off. The darn thing was so powerful that it was dangerous.. Do yourself a big favor and buy this high quality product. You can’t go wrong.
This replaced my 43-year-old hand mixer, so anything was bound to be better, right? But I've been a Cuisinart fan for many years, so this was a natural choice. And true to brand, it is a good tool: powerful, simple, reliable, just what we needed to get the job done.
It has almost too much power at the lowest speed and tends to spray flour, etc., outside the mixing bowl. Otherwise it mixes well. However this is my second as the beaters began hitting together on the first after less than a year.
Best Cuisinart 5-speed mixer. It mixes cookie dough very well. I am very impressed with it. The motor didn't hardly slow down with a ioad. The red color is a great accent to my kitchen.
My KitchAide hand mixer blew up very prematurely, but I had bought the Cuisinart hand mixer as a gift. Well, it formed into a gift to me. And what a gift! This is the best hand mixer I have ever owned. It powers through dough like it’s nothing. I actually don’t drag out the stand mixer half as much as I used to!
