I bought this to replace a very old Cuisinart Round Flip Belgian Waffle Maker that had, over the years, become less nonstick. I'd been very happy with the old one but it needed to be replaced. I'm very happy with this replacement and look forward to many years of use.

The appliance doesn’t always cook when the griddle is flipped over. I need to constantly rotate it until the green ready light goes out indicating that it has begun cooking. Once the contact is made internally in the griddle, it does cook the batter quite well. I’ll keep using it but I may turn it back in before the warranty ends.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the griddle performs well once cooking begins, though we’re sorry for the inconsistency you’ve noticed when flipping the unit. We recommend ensuring the griddle plates are fully closed and aligned when rotating, and that the unit is placed on a level surface to allow proper contact. If the issue continues, our Consumer Support team would be happy to assist before your warranty period ends at 1-800-726-0190.

I used my new waffle maker for the first time today and can't have been more pleased with it. The instructions were simple and every waffle cooked perfectly, no burnt edges or raw batter in the middle. It was easy to use, and the waffles released from the machine without sticking. I believe these were the prettiest and tastiest waffles I've ever made; and I've been cooking for over 60 years. Thank you for this quality product which I highly recommend.
