I bought this as my old magimix motor died. This is much more compact, lighter to carry. Many more features. Haven't tried the spiraliser yet, but looking forward to doing so.
I bought this a few weeks ago to replace a cheaper and always unsatisfactory machine. So far the Cuisinart has proven to be very good at everything I have asked of it. Things are chopped, shredded, spiralised etc. so quickly and efficiently. It made the scones from the Cuisinart book as well as it could bearing in mind that it became obvious that the recipe was too generous on liquid! Fairly easy to clean and, providing there is space for the storage box, it is far better than having everything packed away inside the machine. It is immediately available therefore used. So far is definitely so good!

It's extremely easy to operate with 3 options of high, low or pulse for the motor, there's no timer but as it blitzes hard nuts to a fine crumb texture in seconds, there's really no need for a timer! The motor feels really powerful and the appliance is sturdy. Lovely colour which looks great on the counter top too. One thing I particulary love is the fact that the processing blade is easy to removed for washing - my previous food processor was a nightmare for removing the blade and I was always concerned of injury! But no such troubles with this one. It comes with a box for storing some of the items away - I would have liked to have had a bigger box to contain all of the bits as some are separate which is a bit of pain. Overall - excellent price for a really great kitchen applicance I will use daily for a multitude of different jobs which is a life saver when cooking for 5 every evening.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I tried out with the Expert Prep Pro was some scones, using the dough blade and a mixture of high, low and pulse speeds. It came together so quickly with no mess and fuss. I am most excited about the spiraliser feature though and love that you can prep everything together so quickly and easily. It's also really stylish and looks great in my kithen. The only slight downside is that it needs a lot of space for all the extra blades and discs but it's worth it for the range of functions.
