Got this for Christmas and it absolutely is worth every penny. Very good sound, easy to setup, battery or ac power!

Would NOT play a CD right out of the box.

This is the 4th portable CD boombox I've bought in a row that wouldn't play a CD. This is the only one that didn't play right out of the box. This one the motor wouldn't spin up the CD all the way up. It started but then quit spinning after a few seconds. The others took a few days to quit for different reasons. So disappointed. Can't believe I can't find a working portable CD player. 4 in a row!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product fit exactly what I needed for a replacement for my down's syndrome sisters cd player. It has easy to control/remember buttons, well labeled. Not a lot of extra stuff that she does not need. Works great with headphones in her group home .

Hard to get batteries in or cord out
