Bought yesterday and everything works. Only negative is small power cord compartment is too small. It took 10-15 minutes to get it to fit before I could close compartment.

I wanted a small CD player for my bedroom with just basic features, nothing fancy. Just a few buttons to press to play CD's...did not want to spend a lot for features I did not need. This fit the bill. Most players have a lighted display, as did this one, which I did not want, but it is easy to place a pretty cloth over the display at night if you desire darkness.
I would recommend this to a friend!
