Just tested it out. Some good things some bad things. Like the digital display. Like volume for outside when I work. The ac plug is better than the plug-ins from other brands. Liked the ease of cd player opening and closing. Did not like the built in antenna. I can only pick up stations within a few miles. If I raise the radio 3 to 4 feet in air I a can get the normal stations I listen to. Not as good as a my broken cd player am/fm radios.
Does the job, but I wish there were more features.

I bought this CD/radio after the volume control of my old unit, a Sony, stopped working after several years of use. This new unit performs well in its basic functions. Like many radios today, sound quality for AM is inferior to what a similar unit would have offered a few decades ago. The interior antenna works well enough for local stations, but I would have appreciated a stick antenna for FM, or an outlet where an exterior antenna could be connected. It would also be nice to have the ability to plug in an auxiliary audio source.
Just received today. The size is perfect to move wherever I need it. Have only checked out the radio but it's the great and no static when you turn it up.
This is SO much nice than the old thing I had. It is easier to operate, actually has an antenna that I can live with. It's a wire, not a pole that sticks. Best of all, it is lighter and much easier to carry. I'm delighted. Highly recommendd
