Should have known better

I purchased this mainly for the look and price and honestly did not pay much attention to the brand. I wish I had because this is the 3rd gpx item I've purchased that doesn't work. I had it for 6 months and had never used it. Today I tried to play cd and the only thing I kept getting was no no no it was brand new.called the company and was told to clean the lens even though it's never been used and that i f that doesn't work I can get a replacement for a fee. Their warranties are only 90 days. I know I should have tried it when I got it but like I said it was brand new. So lesson learned I will never purchase another gpx item. There warranties are too short and their products are not very good. And I did clean the lens but still saying no no no

Bad audio quality

at first no much. Then I plugged in ear phones still nothing. Once I pulled ear phones out it was finally playing but so softly you can barely hear it when it's wide open on volume!!!! Bid disappointment. If I still had the box I'd take it back to the store. Also the so called antennae is absent. Barely able to pick up radio station 15 miles away.

Should be better

Audio quality marginal. After a few weeks it could not play a complete CD without loud scratchy static sounds. I hope the product is improved in the future.

Good performance, but not long-lasting

For convenience and ease of use this portable CD player beats the competition. One advantage it has in comparison with all others is the ability to continue listening to a CD and not lose your place after pulling the plug with immediate and smooth transfer to the alternate power (6 "C" type batteries), Carry the still operating player to another room and plug it into another wall outlet without losing a second of the CD or having to hunt for your place. Unfortunately after seven months the player stopped working in the middle of a CD play and the LCD display began blinking "no" "no" "no" repeatedly. Nothing could get it to play CD's after this.
