I bought this for my husband to put in his man cave. He loves it, he doesn't like things that are complicated. This is easy to use, and sounds great! It doesn't take up much room, and well worth the price.

This replaced a similarly-priced unit from another company and I am impressed by how much better the sound is. I'm very pleased with my purchase. It is also compact and cute which is a nice bonus.

Honestly, I wish there was a way that this CD Player could interface with one's phone and play things like Pandora, YouTube, etc. and other music apps. And still manage to be reasonably priced or affordable. Also, the quality of the radio transmission is AWFUL...SERIOUSLY AWFUL...I don't believe that the radio is entirely capable of picking up a strong DIGITAL signal. I believe the radio I purchase is still in analog format...(Although, I could be wrong.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
