(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Laptop offers great value for performance. I upgraded to the 256V CPU and it runs all my tasks with ease. Battery life has not been as long as advertised but still pretty good, I get about 10 hours real world use before having to plug it in. Only real con of the laptop is the glossy screen. Even in ideal conditions you still experience some glare on the screen. That is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) If I'm just watching videos, the laptop can last about 15-20 hours. It took a few days to make sure the settings in the Lenovo Vantage app are not messing with normal everyday use. For example, the screen kept dimming after a few minutes until I turned off some settings. The screen is a bit too reflective so I limit my usage to indoors and away from large windows. The form factor is perfect and the keyboard feels great.

However - there are problems with quite buggy behavior.

Issues:
1. Bluetooth. This does not work well at all. Connections can be made, but they disconnect and reconnect (randomly). All drivers are up to date, yet this unreliable behavior continues. Bluetooth on this laptop is basically useless.
2. Screen brightness. It randomly keeps changing the brightness when you come back from sleep, or even a restart. Yes, I have tried a hundred fixes that everyone else on the internet has already tried. The problem remains. The brightness won't stay where I set it.
3. Screen/Video "tearing". When watching Netflix and some Youtube (full screen with subtitles), the ENTIRE screen will jump and flicker. This is widely reported on the Internet, and no fix has happened yet.
4. HDR. Bad implementation or something. When watching videos, the brightness of the scenes (fluctuate) in a very annoying manner. It is like it is trying to randomly apply HDR settings from scene to scene. I had to DISABLE the HDR to make the video (stable). Lenovo, please fix this.
5. Window sizes. When come out of being locked, or from sleep, the screen resolution fluctuates from 100% zoom, to the zoom I had actually set. This takes at least 3 seconds. Afterwards, the window (sizes) that I had already set - have been changed to full-screen. I have to then re-size all of them -- all over again. Very annoying. Lenovo, please fix this.
6. Track pad. It seems to either be too sensitive, or not sensitive enough -- randomly. Is this a firmware or a hardware issue. Lenovo please fix this.
7. Track pad. It seems to randomly place the cursor all over the screen while i am typing, and I don't even think I am touching the trackpad. In any event - Lenovo, you need to fix the palm rejection feature of the trackpad please.

Again, these issues are widely discussed on the internet, and YES, I have tried everything already.
Lenovo, please work on fixing these bugs. They may belong to Windows 11, or your hardware, or even Intel.
