So easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the price of groceries these days most families are doing whatever they can to reduce waste and lower costs. The NESCO Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer with 10 assorted lids can help you get more life out of your groceries. It creates an airtight seal to store things like chips, crackers, spices and more. I have been using it to store my fruit. We buy a lot of raspberries and they seem to mold so quickly. Since I've been storing them in jars in the fridge I've been getting at least an extra week out of them. This would be great for meal prepping salads, storing leftovers and so many things. It's quiet, very simple to use and takes up very little storage space. It works with standard and wide mouth lids. It stays charged up to 30 days and there's little to no clean up.

Amazing life changer!

After I told her all things electric use one now, she tried it again. She said it was very easy to use and she would definitely buy it.

Easy to charge and you can take it anywhere. It was sealed pretty quickly. Instructions was definitely easy to follow.

A Must Have For Your Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stop wasting food and throwing out items because it goes bad faster than you can use it. Living by myself, no matter how small of a portion I buy, a fair amount of food goes to waste before I can use it all. Even a quart of berries will be spoiled within a few days. Also, with items like a can of pumpkin puree for a food topper my dog likes, I still end up wasting food to it spoiling so quickly. The NESCO Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer is so easy to use and has already saved me so much between the cost of food, not having to go to stores more often, and even time in packaging it. Once everything is prepped and cleaned, it goes into a clean Mason jar, a lid is laid on top, then just add the vacuum sealer and push down gently until it is snug. Then… press the button. That’s it! And you can reseal the same jar over and over. NESCO included a bunch of small and wide mouth lids, a charging cord and a lid opener. This device will pay for itself so quickly by saving you from food waste. And having fresh produce taste fresh for even longer is just a bonus. The device is easy to clean, easy to charge and very easy to store away while taking very little room in a cabinet.

The base fits wide mouth jars and includes charging cable, small and large lids. Easy to use, just place it over the lid and press the buttom.. It has a LED display that shows the battery life.. I like that it is rechargeble, making it easy portable..
It is convenient than dragging out a regular sealer. However, it is not a replacement for pressure canning for shelf- stable perishable.
