Better to avoid

Shortly after the warranty expired, the heating element in my Delonghi coffee maker broke down, rendering the dripping coffee feature completely unusable. Looks to be a common issue for this unit, as internet research shows. I contacted Delonghi for service, but they do not offer it. Instead, they kindly suggested a small discount on the purchase of a new unit. Avoiding this brand altogether since then.

I have purchased this coffee maker couse I liked the idea of 2 in 1 espresso and dripping coffee as well as found it more echo friendly cause you aren't using coffee capsules. However this machine was a total disappointment, it has nothing in common with espresso machine.
- you have to start and STOP the machine yourself otherwise it will use all the water in the tank using same quantity of coffee you pressed in.
- if you leave the water in the tank it leaks and accumulates all of it under the grill where you place the cup, have no idea how exactly to drain it
- the coffee is not warm enough and tasteless, must be way stronger ( even though you follow all the instructions in the manual, which I did)
- the milk steamer is not a steamer, it's a flow of water under pressure and adds lots of water to your milk, and makes the tasteless coffee even worse ( again I followed the manual and waited for it to be heated)
- on top of it the milk is never whipped the way they show it in the video.
At first I have exchanged this coffee maker by exact same one, couse I was sure it's a damaged product and just needs to be replaced, however I got same one working exactly the same way.
I have called De'Longhi to make sure I'm setting it up correctly cause I couldn't believe the proper coffee maker could work like this, but was advised to return the item.

Terrible. Dont buy this garbage

I bought this coffee machine and right from the beginning the frother function did not work. I sent them an email to resolve and it took months to get a reply, when they finally did they wanted videos, pictures, about 50 different things of information. I supplied this and they still did not get back to me. I have called and been on hold for HOURS. They dont get back to emails and dont answer their phone. Dont buy unless you want a garbage machine and a terrible company who doesn't stand behind their products. DONT BUY. Did you know it takes 5 years for a coffee tree to bear fruit? You will know that after hearing it 100 times while on hold with this company.

Really sorry I cannot give this a negative review since this is definitely not worth one star. Total waste of $300 bucks. Takes 15min to get ready and espresso is lukewarm. Tried 5 times, waited 20min for it to get ready - still worst espresso I ever tasted. Would strongly NOT recommend.

Not worth it !

Machine looks great out of the box but.. coffee maker thermostat failed and the repair shop wanted $150 to fix it .. just off warranty of course! A coffee maker at this price point should last 10 plus years so my advice is buy something cheaper or a different brand!

Machine is very touchy. Internal controls are not very solid.When moved for any reason it often does not work until it’s jolted again. Would not recommend it considering the cost.

This was the only dual machine I could find. I love the design. The coffee from the drip side was wonderful, not problems.
Unfortunately the water container from the expresso side leaked. We ended up with water all over our counter. We decided that we had to replace it. While we were returning it another couple came in with the same issue. So we decide not to get a new one.

Delonghi All-In one Espresso Machine

The product is great in general. The only downside is, you’ll have to watch and stop the espresso when you’re making it, otherwise it will be very watery and less concentrated. It would be nice if there’s a button specific for single and double esprsso shot.
I would recommend this to a friend!
