Great gone terribly WRONG

It used to actually be a SOFT soap. Now it dries my hands so bad and gives me a rash. I’m extremely disappointed at the formula change. There such a loyal customer base that used to seek this product out because we have sensitive skin and are sensitive to strong smells. Now the product is harsh and with an awful overpowering scent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The new fragrance is awful

We used and loved the Softsoap Soothing Aloe Vera formula for many years. Alas, Softsoap appears to have replace our much loved soap formula with the Soothing Clean formula. The "new fresh" aloe vera fresh scent is perfectly awful and is putting me off buying any more softsoap. Please bring back the old formula and I will happily go back to buying and using Softsoap, but I don't like the new fragrance nor your specialty sweet fragrances.

New Scent Too Strong

The new scent is too strong. I have been having itchy, watery eyes since using the new scent. It also seems to be harsher on my skin, drying it out.
Please discontinue and go back to the original scent.

Terrible New Scent

I've been using the white soothing Aloe Vera hand soap for DECADES. WHYYYY did you change it to this awful stinky scent??? I have switched brands sadly. Please bring back the original scent!

Put this soap in our bathroom, we use this soap everyday. It makes your hands very soft and cleans them very well. The smell did bother me a bit but not too much. I would recommend this soap to anyone. We’ve used this brand and different smells and types from this brand. Amazing

Bring back the original version

I have been purchasing the original Soothing Clean Aloe Vera Fresh Scent for years. The original version seems to have been discontinued. I could not find it in the store, nor on this website. This "new version" has an extremely strong perfume smell that lingers. I do not like it. I couldn't even bear to use what I purchased and emptied it out.

We have used Softsoap for years, was never a problem. I used to buy it for my kids' classrooms because the school soap was causing allergic reactions. We could always count on the mild scent and cleaning ability. I did not think twice when I saw the update, but right away the scent was chemical smelling, and it did not feel right. A few days later, my hands were dried out and stinging. I thought it could possibly be some other reason but then my husband came to me concerned his hands were torn up the same way. We stopped use and the condition went away. Thank goodness my daughters are still using a bottle of the old formula. They are particularly sensitive.
Seeing the many recent, negative reviews here describing the same has confirmed my suspicions. I am not usually one to complain or even write reviews, but this hurt.
So today I will be searching for a new hand soap. A reliable product has gone bad.

This soap please your hands and leave them soft. Not like other soaps the dryer your hands. With the pump action it's easy for my children to use keep their hands clean. And the scent is so refreshing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
