Hello. There was no reason for you guys to changes/add the scent. I'm a person with high allergy problems. This soap was the only one I was able t for almost a decade. I ordered a gallon of it other day only to find out there is strange smell that triggers my allergy. Then I had to return it. Now, I have to find another hand soap that doesn't trigger my allergy. Please, please change it back. I really don't want to use any other soap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New formula awful!

We have used this soap for years but after the change our hands are dry and cracking. And the smell is overpowering for someone with migraines and allergies. Why ruin a great product? Was it an attempt to substitute cheaper ingredients? We would gladly pay more for the original formula.

Bad Fragrance Left on Hands

After many years of use, my sister & stopped buying this due to the change in fragrance. The bottles we bought we gave to our mother who has no problem. While at her place I needed to wash my hands & the lingering smell was so strong I couldn't wait to get home to scrub the smell off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please Bring Back Old Formula

My family has used this product exclusively for many years and loved the old version. However, we were unpleasantly surprised when the formula changed. The smell lingers and we can’t clean it away. It triggers migraines. The smell is so potent that it keeps me awake in bed if I use it prior to going to sleep. We had to toss it all out and find another brand with a gentle fragrance that won’t make us nauseated. I’ve searched stores for the old version but can’t find it. Very disappointed that this new version stinks and triggers migraines.

Very unpleasant new scent

We have been Softsoap hand soap users for many years and have been very pleased in the past. The new unpleasant scent is very “perfumy” and it lingers on your hands. Hopefully the manufacturer will bring the former scent back, or they will unfortunately be losing customers like us and other reviewers who have the same complaint.

Awful new scent

We have been using soft soap products for YEARS in our family. Like many others, I appreciated the gentle scent. Unforutanately we are sensitive to perfumes and this new formula is very strong for us. We will have to move on to a new product/brand. I'm not sure why a lot of these companies feel the need to change an already great product. I would love to have the old scent back!

Super Fail New Aloe formula!

Have been using Softsoap Aloe type cream soap for decades! Have been so happy with quality and fragrance. I have extreme sensitive skin so very few hand soaps I can use and this and the Honey &cream type work very well.
But Not now!! The soap is making my skin itchy and blotchy and Absolutely dislike the new fragrance! Ugh! Bring back the old formula Aloe moisturizing cream soap!
