New scented soap is irritating

Ive probably used this soap for 15+ years. The new scent is nauseating. I'm not sure who thought this was what consumers wanted - the market is flooded with scented soap. I can taste the scent and it lingers in the bathroom too. Really disappointed in the change.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were loyal Softsoap with aloe vera buyers for years and even got members of our extended family hooked on it. What a mistake this company made. Smells terrible now and leaves hands dry. Stay away from this soap.

PARTING IS SUCH SWEET SORROW FAREWELL SOFTSOAP

Me and my entire family have always used soft soap products faithfully. However, we noticed the last time we purchased this product we got the two large refills of the original scent and I must say it made us ill. I kept trying to figure out what the horrible smell was as it was making me sick to my stomach. Then my sinuses went crazy. My entire household allergies was messed up. All we could smell was some kind of strong perfumey like scent. We had to get this item out of our house. We tried to give it to some people but everyone refused as they say the product has changed for the worse and they did not want it. I ended up giving it to VA. The thing is we loved the product before and could not be without it, now we never want to see or smell it again. Please change the product back to it's original formula. It use to smell so good. Until, it is no one in my family or friends say they will buy it again. We also use other products as well of yours but who knows you are probably going to change those too so we had better get prepared to start looking else where for those as well. Why can't companies just leave things alone. If it is not broke stop trying to fix them because you are just making it worse. Thanks for all the previous wonderful years we enjoyed using your products. A once upon a time loyal customer but not any more.

New but not improved fragrance

So disappointed that the formula has changed to a strong, stinky fragrance. I'm super sensitive to fragrance and have been buying this particular Aloe Vera hand soap for years because it doesn't make me sneeze or gag. The new fragrance is SO strong, I can't use it, it makes me nauseous and the smell remains on one's hands.

Why did you change the fragrance?

The old fragrance for the aloe vera lotion was great, this fruity apple fragrance IMO is not for this hand lotion.

Horrible New Formula and Horrible New Scent

New formula and scent is horrible. Have been using this for years until the formula and scent changed. The new scent just plain stinks and is to strong and lingers way to long. The new formula is more of an irritant than soothing. IT DRIED OUT HANDS AND GAVE AN OVERALL REDNESS TO THE HANDS LIKE A CHEMICAL BURN...after weeks still working on healing hands...what was put in this new formula. Beware if you have sensitive skin or are a frequent hand washer. The old formula was great and the only hand soap used in my household and enjoyed it for many years but NOT this new formula or new scent. I would give this new formula and new scent zero stars if I could.

New scent is AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!

If I could give this zero stars, I would! I have bought this soap for as long as I can remember and loved it because it was moisturizing, had a very subtle scent, and wasn’t an antibacterial formula. The last refill I purchased had a new look to the packaging label and the most AWFUL scent to it. Why would you change the scent?! It smells like very strong perfume that lingered on my hands for hours and gave me a headache. Guess I’ll be buying the generic brands of this soap from now on.

Need an unscented option

I recently sent a review about not liking the fragrance. The response was to try one of their other scented products. WHY DON'T YOU OFFER AN UNSCENTED OPTION?
