Awful smell

I have used this soap for years and loved it. I recently picked up a new bottle and found out the company changed the scent. The new scent is overwhelming and caused a mild allergic reaction. Definitely won't buy again.

Bad Smell

I have been using this product for many years. I really enjoyed using it until a scent was added. The new scent that was added is God awful. I have stopped buying this product as a result. Should it ever change back I would consider buying it again.

Drying and too scented

After using the Soothing Aloe Vera hand soap for more than 10 years, I was disappointed not to find it on the store shelf. This is the one soap that does not leave our hands dry and the scent was not overpowering. Your comments saying you have more scents to choose from does not address the problem. Unfortunately, we will be looking for another hand soap from another company.

Terrible change to a great product!

Sure wish I would have seen the reviews on this page before buying this last bottle, and it will be the last bottle!! I have been buying Soft Soap Aloe Vera for many years. I am sensitive to smells so most products I use are fragrance free. However, Soft Soap Aloe Vera was such a nice soap and never bothered me. Now this new scent - it is far to strong and gives me a headache. Will be looking for a new brand.

Bring back Aloe Vera scent only please! No Perfume

I have been buying this hand soap for years and have loved its soothing benefits and very light aloe Vera smell. Unfortunately the scent has changed! The scent is very high in perfume, the scent gives me a headache and it also gave me a rash on my hands. Why do all good things have to come to an end! This was the perfect hand soap until Softsoap decided to change the scent.
Please please bring back the original!! You will have many customers back for life. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this review and consider customer feedback.

New Aloe softsoap formulation smells terrible!!!

I am so unhappy with the new softsoap aloe. I am very sensitive to smells that lead to migraines. I’ve used the old version of softsoap aloe for years - it’s the only soap I found I could tolerate (and actually enjoy) the smell. I travel with this soap. I bought gallons and gallons and gallons. I just bought the new formulation. It smells TERRIBLE. And I worry about this very strong smell triggering a migraine. I use Johnson and Johnson baby soap for showering. I will be switching to that for hand washing now as well - unless the old version of the aloe soft soap is brought back (PLEASE!!!!!)

Scent now too strong

I used this soap for years because it was great for our hands, not drying. And didn't have a strong scent. Now it smells terrible, like a strong perfume. I'll have to find something else.

Catastrophic improvement

Liked the old soap for the mild fragrance. The new version features a "fresh scent" that is very strong and lingers a long time. Unfortunately, I bought 2 bottles which now go directly into the trash.
