Stinky soap

I've used and enjoyed this soap for years -- great product UNTIL the scent was "updated". It is WAYYYYY too strong and floral. The old scent was JUST RIGHT -- PLEASE QUIT trying to "improve" things when they are great to begin with. Not sure I can continue to use this soap as it now triggers my nasal allergies.

Yet Another Perfect Product Destroyed

I have used this soap exclusively for at least 15 years. I was elated when I first discovered it because it had no lingering scent, cleaned effectively, had a rich, creamy texture, and never dried out my hands. I wash my hands frequently throughout the day and this soap always left my hands feeling clean and refreshed. Imagine my surprise when I opened my latest refill bottle and was overpowered by some sort of strange sour apple smell that lingered and left my hands feeling dry after using it. The old formula was perfection and the new formula is horrid. Count me as one of the many dissatisfied customers that now has to hunt for a new brand of soap. Highly aggravating and disappointing.

I have been using this hand soap for years and am incredibly disappointed that they changed the formula. The new scent is way too strong and dries my hands out. Please switch back to the old formula.

Goodbye stinky Softsoap

For the life of me I cannot understand why they would change something so many love but the new Aloe Vera is awful, and I will not buy Softsoap again. So many other options for hand soap and by companies that don't figuratively spit in their PAYING customers faces. Is Softsoap owned by the same company that owns TIDE???

STINKS - LITERALLY

I've used this soap for years and just opened one with the new label. This stuff STINKS. It used to have a subtle scent that didn't linger, but now it smells like they dumped an entire bottle of perfume in a small bottle of soap. It's migraine-inducing. I'm going to have to throw away all the bottles I recently bought and search for a different brand.

Migraines from fragrance

They have changed the scent to overpowering smell. I can no longer use this soap as it gives everybody migraines.
Hey Colgate if you’re all about the consumer check out the reviews. The majority are one star for this very reason. Why mess with a great product. It was great before, why change it.

Too thin

Weve been using Soft Soap for years, mostly because it foamed well. But lately it seems thin and watery.

Smells Like Sickly Sweet Candy

I used to love the clean soapy fresh scent before it was changed. The new fragrance is just the same as all the other new fragrances in every other product out there in the last few years. It smells like candy and no longer smells "fresh". It actually sickly sweet smelling so I ended up pouring it down the drain and switching to a different product.
