New formula is the worst!

The new aloe clean soft soap formula has changed and been scented with an awful smell. This new formula leaves my skin dry and irritated and the soap has changed my body’s pH chemistry so much so that I don’t feel or smell as clean for as long as before with the old formula. At first I thought it was just a label change; however, now after reading many revolts for the new soap online, now I know something has changed. I demand they bring the old formula back. How could Colgate ruin a soap that was so effective and true. My stable go to is gone. Shame on you Colgate for changing what should have never been changed!

New and NOT improved

I had used this soap for many years but now due to the new awful "scent" Softsoap has lost a long time customer. I don't have anything new to add to what's already been said here, just want to add my experience.

Why mess up a good thing ? Like many people, this has been my go to for decades. Light scent, left my hands moisturized. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find products for us scent sensitive people, don’t understand why there’s this need for such strong smelling products. Please reconsider going back to the original formula.

I would like to echo what the majority here are already saying. The new formula is more drying and the scent is unpleasant and entirely too strong. It’s clear that Softsoap had a substantial misunderstanding of at least part of their market for the original product. Now that I can no longer locate the original formula, I’ve found a replacement bar soap product from a competitor for home and am working to find an alternative liquid soap for the office.

Terrible fragrance

I am really disappointed with the new Aloe fragrance. The previous version of Aloe Softsoap had a faint, pleasant scent, which is why I used it for years. The new version has a sharp, unpleasant smell that lingers on skin for hours. I ended up discarding the bottles that I purchased.
