Horrible new formula!

Why oh why did you change the formula! The new scent is strong and horrible and not good for people with allergies! Someone screwed up big time with this. According to these comments, you will be losing a lot of business.

I am hoping someone from Colgate-Palmolive is reading these reviews. We overwhelmingly want you to GO BACK TO THE ORIGNAL FORMULA! You would get all of your customers back if Softsoap Soothing Clean Aloe Vera soap went back to not stinking. Please notice!

New formula dries out hands

I just recently learned of soft soap's change in formula for their Aloe Vera hand soap after having used up the refill bottles I had on hand previously. While I don't like the new scent at all, it doesn't bother me nearly as much as the fact that this new formula immediately began drying out my skin from only the first one or two uses. The original soft soap formula had been the only one I'd found that left my hands moisturized at the end and I can't tell you how incredibly disappointed and discouraged I am. Like the other hundreds of reviews, why on earth did they change something that so many people were loyal customers of? I can't help but think it was probably to cut costs on production with cheaper ingredients so that the company can just make more profits. I hope that the customer backlash is felt and they return to the original, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll be looking for a new hand soap and don't plan to return to soft soap.

Old formula was great. Reformulation is garbage.

This reformulation will go down as one of the worst corporate blunders in history. Formerly perfect product is now awful. We will no longer be purchasing this in bulk for our small business, nor at home, nor any p&g alternatives if possible. New formula is smelly, slimy, and drying with worse gallon packaging. Utterly ruined. So sad. Loved the old version.

Please Bring Back Soothing Aloe Vera Original Soap

I always loved the Soothing Aloe Vera soap and particularly the scent, but this new aloe vera scent is just not nearly as nice, nor is the soap the same, not as moisturizing. I am so disappointed, as it has been the only bathroom hand soap I have used, and so please please bring back the old (original) soothing aloe vera soap and scent!

The new fragrance is too heavy, was my soap since more than 15 years. Won’t buy again.

PLEASE bring back the old formula

Does anyone really read these reviews? The new formula is not getting great reviews, actually not getting a single good review! I have called the 800 number recommended in other replies and they want to send me a coupon to buy more:-). Hundreds of terrible reviews. Is there any plan to bring back the old formula?
