I want the original smell back!

Will Never Buy Again

Recently opened a bottle of the "New fragrance" version of Softsoap's Aloe Vera hand soap. The "New fragrance" has a very strong bad odor to it. The odor is so bad I threw the bottle away and will never buy Softsoap again. I've been a loyal user of the Aloe Vera soap for many years, but will now be switching to a brand other than Softsoap because of the "New fragrance".
Cons: Unpleasant Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't know what you did, but I had an awful reaction to it. It completely dried my hands out, and it made them itchy, cracked, and bleeding. The scent is now too strong. I have severe chemical sensitivities, and since I have been using your product for years, I had no problems with it. Now I have to try and find something I'm not going react to. Good job...not.

I am disappointed in this product. It doesn't lather.

I'm disappointed in this product, as it doesn't lather at all, which makes me wonder how well it's really cleaning. Would not buy again. I've never had an issue with Soft Soap products, but I do usually buy antibacterial products. However, due the pandemic, product choices are limited.
Pros: Pleasant Smell
Cons: Poor Lather

I wish you hadn't changed it

For years this has been the only liquid soap I have bought because it did not have an overwhelming scent and it was gentle on my skin. Now the ingredients have been almost completely overhauled and my hands are like sandpaper after just a few days use. Softsoap - you took a perfectly good product and ruined it. I can't use this anymore.

I will look for something else! The fresh scent is too stron

The old version was perfect! Why do they always have to change things?? Should have left it the way it was! My wife hates the new fresh scent! She is allergic to many perfumes and smells, and now can no longer use SoftSoap Aloe. Please bring back the original!!!

Preferred the old formula

The old Soothing Aloe Vera soap was great. My skin reacts badly to perfumes, so I tend to use unscented or lightly scented products. This was my main hand soap. I recently tried to buy a refill bottle and ended up with the new Soothing Clean formula. The new formula has WAY too much perfume/fragrance in it. I'm currently tolerating it because I don't have much choice. Please, please, PLEASE bring back the old formula!!!
